Ballet is the basis of all forms of dance. In this class we will focus on technique and vocabulary. This class will work at the barre and in the center.
Pointe is an advanced type of ballet that is performed on the tips of the toes. In this class, students can continue to improve their ballet techniques by performing on their toes using Pointe shoes. Pointe is for the advanced ballet dancer. Students must have permission from the instructor to sign up for this class.
Tap is considered a series of synchronized and controlled rhythmical movements of the feet. This class will work and build on tap technique, terminology, and rhythm, through center work and progressions.
This class works on flexibility, rhythm, and style. Always a lot of fun!
In this class you will learn age appropriate hip hop choreography. It is a fun and exciting style of dance.
This is a more expressive form of dance that uses the technique learned in ballet and jazz. Ages determined on an individual basis by the Instructor. You must also be enrolled in a ballet class to take lyrical.
A Middle Eastern dance in which the dancer makes sensuous movements of the hips and abdomen. This is a great class in which students can learn a new style of dancing.
Popular style of street dance that was created and developed as part of hip-hop culture. The dance consists of four primary elements: toprock, downrock, power moves and freezes. These workshops will provide experience and choreography that will influence other hip hop classes.
